This software tool lets you edit a web page directly in a web browser, and then save your changes to an html file. In the first version of the tool, you can edit only text. In later versions, you will be able to add and remove sections such as divs.

It's easiest to run the tool on Mac OS X, because then you can use AppleScript to save the modified web page contents.

If you're using Mac OS X, and if you want to use AppleScripts to save your changes, then you must use the Safari web browser. This is because the AppleScripts query Safari, to get the new html string.

This tool has been tested on Mac OS X 10.8.5, Safari 6.2.8, and AppleScript Editor 2.5.1.
