Here are somecommandline options:- devicetimeout=n : - usefull for cantankerous usb's default is 5 copy2ram:-- copies rootfs.sqfs on the source media to ram the to be mounted onroot filesystem home=/dev/##:-- specifies the home partition which can be a partition or removable device note : if home is specified as a removable device, the device should not be removed until home is unmounted or shutdown is performed noswap:-- disables any swap partitions startx:-- starts the X server as user 'live' Here's an example:- >tab< bollix noswap copy2ram changes home=/dev/sdc1 To install to hard drive issue the command as root /sbin/simple-installer.sh There are no provisions for creating or deleting partitions in the installer itself Swap files are not created nor detected, this can be created (preferably)before or after installation It is recommended that you have a partition of 5g formatted to ext4 The old install notes are here - https://sourceforge.net/projects/bollix/files/older%20stuff/install%20notes/download after installing it is recommended that you change the root password (default is root) thanks and enjoy
