Alpha - Installer and archive versions of the Blood alpha Beta - The v0.91 beta The alpha includes its source code in the archive. This source is incomplete and the archives are passworded. The unpassworded source code is included in this repository, but if you wish to extract the archives yourself from the alpha, the passwords of the files are as follows: comm1120.zip - jello stup1122.zip - jello bsource.zip - elcycer sharemap.zip - not passworded A source port using the alpha source code was started, and works to an extent, but is very unstable and is no longer developed. You can find it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/blood32/ IN ORDER FOR THE ALPHA TO WORK: In DOSBox, you must first run SETUP.EXE and change these settings: Sound Setup -> SoundBlaster -> 16-bit -> Stereo -> 32 -> 44 KHz -> 220h (default) -> Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 -> IRQ 7 -> Channel 1 (default) -> Channel 5 (default) Music Setup -> General Midi -> 330h (default) After this has been done, choose "Save and play" or "Save and exit", you can now play the alpha without it crashing instantly.
