BIShare 2.6.2
Changed
- Shared links say what they are. The Share button after a link upload now sends the file's name and size, how long the link lasts and a line on what BIShare is, before the link itself; it used to send the bare link. Copy still copies only the link. "Share BIShare" in Settings and in the invite sheet sends its message in the app's language and points at the download page.
- The browser page for nearby devices names BIShare. The page a browser on the same network opens to get or send files now ends with a line on what BIShare is and a link to get it.
Removed
- Two leftovers of the old account system. Links of the form
bishare.app/share/…andbishare.app/request/…no longer open the app (neither page nor API exists any more; they used to fail with an error), and the "file too large" message for a link no longer promises a "Pro" plan. It now says what works instead: sending nearby over Wi-Fi, which has no size limit.
