BIShare is a free, open source file transfer app that works like AirDrop across every platform: Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android, in any direction. On the same Wi-Fi, devices find each other automatically and files move directly between them at local network speed, without passing through a cloud server. Photos and videos arrive at full resolution with the original format and metadata. The receiver can also use a plain web browser, with no app or account.
When the other person is not on the same network, BIShare sends an encrypted link instead. The file is encrypted on the sender's device before upload, so the relay stores only data it cannot read.
