Biorec is an open source control software written for Windows operating systems to provide data logging, process monitoring and control for pilot and laboratory scale BioFlo® series (Eppendorf AG, Hamburg/Germany) fermentors/bioreactors. The supported models are BioFlo® III and BioFlo® 3000 (other models have not been tested in action). Biorec supports process automation through a user programming environment that allows controlling pumps, temperature or agitation by mathematical equations.
