A Desktop shell using KDE technology (notably KIO and solid) but no plasma, nepomuk, akonadi etc.
Setup is mostly done by "writing" apps and panels into a config file but there's of course GUI for daily stuff.
As subprojects there's currently "BE::MPC" (a client for MPD, the music player daemon)

Excellent desktop, provides a lot of flexibility, but it requires time to dominate this shell. This desktop-shell is oriented to people who likes to have the control of every aspect of his or her desktop, and to who that are not satisfied on what KDE or Gnome, or whatever provides as a desktop. The support is very good, as the author of this software responds in no long time.

The most flexible desktop I've ever seen. Sure, it's not easy to configure, and needs a lot of patience for some parts. But you get a desktop, which is completely different from all others. For beginners, it is absolutely necessary to read the wiki (config and theming reference). Thanks to Thomas for sharing and all the help! :)
