BcalcOS Linux

BcalcOS Linux is a good-to-go, general-use desktop system based on Devuan. It is systemd-free, utilizes XLibre, and includes Brave Origin as the default browser.

A custom, terminal-based installer walks users through installation. The BcalcOS Welcome Center helps new users install curated applications and perform basic system tasks. A BcalcOS repository provides not only BcalcOS packages, but also several third-party applications not currently available in the Devuan repositories.

The BcalcOS Discourse community includes short vignettes (~ 1–2 minute reads) covering useful information about the system, its applications, and other topics of interest. Some examples:
- BcalcOS Installer: Design Notes & Trade-offs
- Dual Boot Grub Note
- BcalcOS Theme & Icons
https://bcalcos.discourse.group/t/more-you-know-vignettes/32

Project principles:
- Simpler is usually better.
- Open process produces better outcomes.
- Value effort and merit.
- Treat people as individuals

Recommended! And I haven't even downloaded it yet. Going to though, based on Brian's philosophy and aesthetic, not to mention the rhetoric.
