Automatos is the open-source AI Operating System (Apache-2.0). Instead of a library, it gives you the whole machine: a workforce of AI agents you command through one chat, Auto, that produce real Deliverables — reports, code, content and analysis.
Self-host it with docker compose up: no login, your data on your infrastructure. Bring any model — 400+ through OpenRouter, direct keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek, NVIDIA's hosted open models — or run your own Claude Code, Codex or GitHub Copilot CLI as agents.
Agents get skills, 1,000+ tool integrations through Composio, and knowledge bases with a Knowledge Graph. Playbooks automate multi-step work, Missions coordinate agents on a goal, and the Command Center shows every agent, task and schedule, with the cost of every call.
A hosted edition, Automatos Studio, opens as a beta in November 2026.
