Auto Key Presser Pro is a fast, tiny, free and open-source automatic keyboard presser for Windows. Pick a key, set an interval, and the app presses it for you — start and stop instantly with a global hotkey, even when the window is minimized or in the background.

Perfect for keyboard-driven idle / incremental games, single-player AFK sessions (hold W to walk, tap Space to jump), keeping your PC awake, UI / QA testing, repetitive data entry, or any repeat-a-key task you would rather automate.

How to use

1. Download and run AutoKeyPresser.exe.
2. Click Set Key and press the key you want repeated.
3. Set the interval in milliseconds (enable Randomize ± for variable timing), or tick Hold key down to keep it pressed.
4. Press Start — or hit the global hotkey (F6) from anywhere to start/stop.

Get the latest Windows build from the Releases page (AutoKeyPresser-v2.0.zip). Unzip and run AutoKeyPresser.exe — no installer, fully portable. Each release lists a SHA-256 hash and a VirusTotal link so you can verify the exact file before running it.

Build from source

Requires MSBuild with the .NET Framework 4.8 developer pack on Windows (the .NET Framework 4.8 runtime ships with Windows 10/11, so the built exe needs no runtime install):

The single-file executable is produced under src/bin/Release/net48/AutoKeyPresser.exe (~110 KB, zero dependencies).

A note on fair use

Auto Key Presser Pro is built for single-player games, idle/incremental titles, keep-awake, testing, accessibility and productivity. Some online games with kernel-level anti-cheat (e.g. Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye) prohibit input automation and can detect perfectly-regular timing — use it responsibly and at your own discretion. This tool makes no attempt to be "undetectable."
