IMPORTANT: PgManage versions prior to 1.3 are using older versions of RestrictedPython library susceptible to arbitrary code execution outside the sandbox [CVE-2023-37271]
This allows for remote code execution in custom PgManage monitoring widgets when PgManage is running as a remotely available web-service.
While this vulnerability is unlikely to be exploited in desktop variant of PgManage we still strongly advise to upgrade to version 1.3 or later. We would like to thank Sho NAKATANI (@laysakura) for reporting this issue.
