.asoundrc files for multitrack recording in audacity etc from common, say, usb sound devices (microphones, amps).

This creates a sound device called "multi" that has 6 tracks: 2 for regular sound card, 2 for amp1, 2 for amp2.

Or 2 for reg sound card, 2 for usb mic, 2 for amp1.

With the usb devices all connected to the same usb hub (say on a laptop) if you use more than mic + amp there will be overruns and crash.

I guess you need to use multiple USB PCI cards and connect 1 device into each.

Or use multiple sound cards.
Either way these configs can show you how to
get everything merged together working multitrack concurrently in Gnu/Linux.

USB guitar amps need more work to get working as they are only capture, and thus the fake extra stuff is needed, you'll see in the configs.
