This is a critical update and is advised for all users.

Fixes

  • Applite's built-in Homebrew works again. Homebrew retired the master branch Applite downloaded it from on 4 September, which broke new installs immediately and existing ones within three days.
  • A broken installation repairs itself. If yours is already affected, just open Applite — it repairs in place and keeps every app you have installed.
  • Updates are detected again. 1.4.0 could show an empty Updates tab while updates were available. Reported by @TianLi-520, traced by @bunnysayzz. (#159)

New Features

  • See the download size before you install. Get Info now shows how large an app's download is.

Known Issues

  • 1.4.1 was published briefly on 5 September and withdrawn the same day; it predates the Homebrew fix above. If you downloaded it, this update replaces it.
