Below are the commands to build the NPU boot code (u-boot) for the APEX1500
from the SDK distributed by Cavium Networks.

$ tar xzf cnusers_sdk_1.9.0.tgz
$ cd Cavium_Networks/OCTEON-SDK
$ source ./env-setup --noruntime-model OCTEON_CN56XX_PASS2
$ cd bootloader/u-boot
$ make octeon_generic_ram_config
$ make
