antimicro is a graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad. It's useful for using a gamepad on PC games that do not have any form of built-in gamepad support. This program can also be used to control any desktop application with a gamepad. On Linux, this means that your system has to be running an X environment in order to run this program.

This program currently works with various Linux distributions, Windows (Vista and later), and FreeBSD, but with limited support for FreeBSD and Windows XP.

  • I downloaded another program found on the web for this same task. It was supposed to be good, after trying and trying with many options and advanced settings, it was unable to just keep a key held, even it seemed designed to difference between holding an pressing a key. Tired of the uselessness of that program, I found this one, with a simpler interphase, with some hope I tried it and the first thing it does is exactly what it is supposed to do. I want to thank and to greet the developer/s of this program since it is a good example of how software should be conceived.
