This IDE is simple, fast and very useful to work with autotools and C++ projects!! I really recommend it!

Great project after looking at all other IDEs. One thing that really bothers me about the Linux community is their acceptance of Java based IDEs that are extremely slow in comparison to Anjuta. Code blocks is another decent IDE, but since it is cross platform it kind of misses a few features and things like the terminal plug-in aren't as cleanly integrated. Anjuta is clean and fast and does all the basic things you would need. I am personally going to start working on some plug-ins that will add some more advanced functionality that I feel Anjuta is missing like code completion, style formatting(a good example is Code Blocks), and pre-set theme support. I am sure I there are people working on this stuff already so I will look around first, but just wanted to let the developers know I appreciate the work they have done on this clean GTK/C/C++ IDE.
