This release updates the build tools to work with Android Studio 2024 (“Ladybug”), drops support for Android 3 (Honeycomb) and earlier, and targets Android 8 (Oreo). Major changes have been made to how the app handles notifications for alarms; most notably, instead of posting a single notification for any number of items that are due the app now displays a separate notification for each due item, and instead of clearing the notification when you tap it the notification will remain until either dismissed or until the To Do item is marked complete.
