Once you have downloaded and uncompressed the disk image 'Alpha_9.2.1.dmg', double-click on its icon. Then drag the Alpha icon onto the Applications folder.


The file 'AlphaTools_9.2.1.zip' contains additional resources: several command line tools to run Alpha from a terminal window and a shell script to update the AlphaTcl library from the Subversion repository. They are not strictly necessary and are also included inside the main application bundle. The checksums for the AlphaTools archive are:
