Note: As Alfresco is launching it's own open source desktop sync, we have chosen to put all our effort into their code instead. This project will therefor no longer be actively maintained.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

This application synchronizes files between a client and Alfresco using Web Services. The application currently synchronizes files in document library of any site a user has access to. The application is built using Java and uses jNotify.

The original framework for this application was developed by Sridhar Kovuru during his time at Worksy (www.worksy.com). Kristijonas Malisauskas have done a great job finishing the application during his internship at Worksy. We thank Andrei Colța at YOPESO (www.yopeso.com) for his help with testing at a very early stage and with his work on making the application work on Mac and Linux.

  • If you're getting the error from the Mac OS version about the "'Desktop Sync Installer' is damaged and can't be opened", Google for "Mac OS X: App Is Damaged And Cannot Be Opened " (WITH the quotes) for the solution on a page by Andrey Sergienko. Essentially, you just need to allow downloads from anywhere in the "Security & Privacy" system preferences, then you'll be able to open it.
