akima interpolation in c Files

The zip file akima.zip
contains   brief.pdf which explains the background for the program definition, and includes  the actual program. The driver is at the bottom and 
if run as is with gcc, it will produce a running program. Define out the main at the end if the user wants just the .o
The *.[ch] and the makefile and the pdf are included. Its a relatively small program.
