AikaOS

AikaOS 11.1 is an Arch-based x86_64 desktop with KDE Plasma, Aika artwork, selected custom icons, themed GRUB and Fastfetch with an Aika ASCII portrait. The Aika-themed Calamares 3.4.3 installer works offline.

Download one complete ISO. Write it to an 8 GB or larger USB drive with Rufus using ISO Image mode. Boot its UEFI entry with Secure Boot disabled.

The live account aika logs in automatically with passwordless sudo and German defaults. Installation creates a password-protected normal user, locks root and disables SSH autostart. The validated installation path is UEFI, ext4 and a dedicated target disk; erase-disk installation deletes its contents. No swap or a 512 MiB swap file is available.

Use full pacman upgrades. Read the release notes for known issues and untested paths. Sources, SHA-256 checksums, provenance, installation guide and support:
