AIDEa is an experimental integrated development environment and visual development platform written in Free Pascal using Lazarus.
The project explores a service-oriented IDE architecture in which language definitions, compiler configuration, project structures, templates, documentation, themes and localization are provided as external declarative resources rather than being embedded directly in the application.
This Developer Preview is being published for evaluation and community testing. It is not yet intended for production use.
Current areas available for testing include:
* workspace, solution and project management;
* multi-tab source editing;
* recent project and file handling;
* Pascal and Free Pascal language support;
* visual form design and LFM source inspection;
* structural LFM validation with source navigation;
* object, property and event inspection;
* filtered project and component views;
* project and form templates;
* compiler integration & output
