Here are some problems for you to get some practice and apply your skills with basic artificial intelligence algorithms in Javascript. In each challenge, you are given a puzzle and must write a function which takes the test data as input and returns a value as output - the precise specifications will differ for each exercise. An intermediate knowledge of Javascript is assumed. Feel free to use alert for a dialog box and pause and context.drawText(text,x,y) to draw text onscreen to debug your algorithms. Here are the four that are now available:

Authors - guess which of three nineteenth century authors a short snippet of text was written by.
Search - find the most efficient path from point A to point B on a grid.
Fifteen - solve the classic fifteen puzzle.
Explore - make your way past obstacles to a goal with uncertain senses and movement
