Ark pixel font - Open source Pan-CJK pixel font

Ark pixel font - Open source Pan-CJK pixel font / Ark pixel font - Open source Pan-CJK pixel font. An open-source pan-Chinese-Japanese-Korean pixel font. 10, 12 and 16 pixels are supported. The goal is to provide an out-of-the-box pixel font solution for game development that can be used for text. This project not only provides all the glyph source files, but also provides the complete program needed to build the font. This font is still in early development and still lacks a large number of Chinese characters in all sizes. Among them, 12 pixels are the main development target. 10, 16 pixels are experimental. Efforts are currently underway to achieve the availability of 12 pixels under the GB2312 character set. We have a temporary interim solution available for production until the full font is available, check out the Stitcher Pixel Font project.

    Monocraft

    Monocraft

A programming font based on the typeface used in Minecraft

Monocraft is a font for developers who like Minecraft a little too much. Featuring monospaced characters and tasteful ligatures, I've carefully designed each glyph in Monocraft to be usable in a dev environment while preserving that Minecraft charm. Try it out today and discover why nobody has ever done this before! The characters in this font were based on the typeface used in the Minecraft UI, with a select few glyphs updated for better readability and spacing. Each character has been carefully redesigned to work in a monospaced font. Thin characters like “i” and “l” have been reworked with tasteful tails and serifs to look better in a monospaced environment. Add some spice to your programming life with all new ligature characters. Arrows now look like arrows and comparison operators are easier to see at a glance. After following the installation instructions up above, simply select the "Monocraft" font (note the space) in any application that supports custom fonts.

An open-source Chinese font derived from Fontworks' Klee One

An open-source Chinese font derived from Fontworks' Klee One. In December 2020, the famous Japanese font manufacturer FONTWORKS released 7 open source Japanese fonts on GitHub , namely Train, Klee, Stick, Rock-n-Roll, Reggae, Rampart and DotGothic16. The seven open-source Japanese fonts have their own characteristics, and among these seven fonts, Klee has the largest number of characters. This is a Japanese textbook style font, which has the characteristics of imitating Song and italics, and is highly readable. Some DIY font enthusiasts have used imitation Song and other fonts to complete this font successively. As a beautifying font for mobile phone systems, it has been transplanted into mobile phone systems such as iOS and Android, and has been welcomed by many computer friends. However, such a completed font has some shortcomings. First , there is a certain difference between the original font and the supplemented font, which causes some different characters.

    Fira Code

    Fira Code

Free monospaced font with programming ligatures

Fira Code is a free and open source monospaced font containing programming ligatures for the most commonly-used multi-character combinations in programming. Programmers use a lot of symbols that are encoded through a series of characters. Often these symbols are quickly done and overlooked, causing errors due to spacing, etc. Fira Code helps solve such problems. While all programming languages should be designed with full-fledged Unicode symbols for operators, such is not yet the case. Until then, there's Fira Code. Fira Code's solution is clean, simple and only font rendering. This means that the underlying code is still very much ASCII-compatible, allowing for the faster reading and understanding of code.

    Cozette

    Cozette

A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness

A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness. Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. That prompted me to make the bitmap font I always wished existed: Cozette; a small-but-not-tiny bitmap font with great coverage of all the glyphs you might encounter in the terminal. I'm intentionally putting the emphasis on "you" - although Cozette already has all the glyphs I've seen in my CLI tools so far, you might find it's missing a glyph you wish it had. If that's the case, please file an issue! It's an important goal for Cozette to be a useful bitmap alternative to Nerd Fonts. Bitmap fonts are, effectively, just that - bitmaps.

    Numix Circle

    Numix Circle

    Linux packaging for Numix Circle

Circle is an icon theme for Linux from the Numix project. This readme provides information on installation, icon requests and hardcoded icons. Licensed under the GPL-3.0+. If using this with our base icon theme make sure you install both parts using the same method. This makes sure that the panel icons keep working as intended. If you use Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo or any of their derivatives then you're sorted! Numix Circle is available from the official repositories. If you use Ubuntu or any of its derivatives (including Mint and elementary OS) you can use our Numix PPA to get the very latest version of the theme. For Arch users there's a community-maintained package in the AUR that builds from this GitHub. For Gentoo users there's a community-maintained ebuild in the edgets overlay which builds icons directly from Lumix-core repository, so you receive latest commits. To deal with hardcoded application icons Numix uses the hardcode-fixer script.

    Vazirmatn Font

    Vazirmatn Font

    Vazirmatn is a Persian/Arabic font

Vazirmatn is a Persian/Arabic font project that started in 2015 under the name of Vazir with the idea of a new simple and legible typeface suitable for web pages and applications. Design and development have taken a long way but I hope the results are worth it. Thanks to DejaVu Sans font (v2.35) published in public domain there was a free software base to start the Vazir project. Although Vazir was completely different in typeface, still the original software was common. The design is done in Fontforge. For Latin glyphs, Vazirmatn is combined with Roboto font by a build script, however, there is also a version without Latin glyphs (Non-Latin). All weights other than Thin, Regular and Black are generated by the interpolation method by fontmake library.
