The device list works on a cold PC and phones now appear by name.
Fixed
- The list stayed empty whenever adb.exe was installed but not running, and refreshing did not help: AdbTether only ever talked to an adb server that was already listening and never started one. It now starts the server with the adb binary it found, so a scan works right after a boot.
- A scan that failed cleared the list in silence. The reason is now shown on the activity line, so a missing or unusable adb is visible instead of looking like "no phone attached".
Added
- Phones are listed by the name they report, not by their transport serial: o.product.marketname ("Xiaomi 13T"), falling back to the vendor market name, then to manufacturer plus model ("Samsung SM-S911B"), and only then to the serial. The serial remains the identity behind adb -s, the port forward and the engine, and the dropdown carries it as a tooltip for telling two identical phones apart.
Install
Download AdbTether-0.1.3.msi and run it. It replaces any 0.1.x install in place (same UpgradeCode).
