User Reviews

  • I know it's early stages, so the thumbs up is related to the potential this project has to be extremely useful. At this point though, there are a number of things I've had difficulty with. Perhaps these features exist, but I haven't been able to find where. It may also be that NB 6.8 (which I'm using) has incompatibilities which cause these. First of all, despite being able to select Ada 2005 in the build options, the command line produced selects Ada 95. Secondly, I've had masses of trouble trying to find a way using GNAT from NB to build against the win32ada library. I can't see any way to make the compiler command line look in the right place for sources, even adding a source folder doesn't seem to help. Furthermore I haven't found anywhere I can set additional linker options as, in this case, I need to link against winmm libs. For an early attempt there are some things that are done very well, so this is definitely worth trying. I hope its development continues quickly though!
