Active Intelligence (download the latest version from AIS website) takes care of all Business Intelligence requirements. It uses three Open Source reporting technologies namely BIRT, Jasper, and Pentaho and allows you to use the best of the technologies to create everything from ad-hoc reports to professional dashboards. I have used Active Intelligence in a number of applications across several different industries. From connection to report delivery, the journey is pretty seamless. Even the customer service is second to none. I have used their technical support forum (BI Experts), and have spoken to their Technical Support. They have always been prompt and professional. I have been dealing with BI products for over a decade. I can definitely say that AIS is a refreshing change to the conventional technologies available.
