Hello ZynAddSubFX users, Right now zyn is long overdue for a release and coding in general. After working with Harald Hvaal and Paul N, it seems like the next release is almost ready. It seems to work overall and is not catching fire in any obvious way, but that does not mean that there are not bugs. In order to ensure the release mostly bug free, we are having a beta test. If anyone has time it would be great if you could make sure that there is nothing busted with this release. For those who want to know what is new, I will quote the history file: 2.4.1 (In Beta) - Azerty layout - XML bug fixes - Vibrato/Unison additions - Reverb rewrite - DSSI support enabled - Adding APhaser - other bugfixes - code cleanup Download: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zynaddsubfx/files/ For anyone who spots something right away, I should be on ##zynaddsubfx on freenode [quasi-official channel] Otherwise, there is the tracker on sf and the mailing list. Sidenote for JACK users: We know that there are problems with the current interface. We know that git::nio is not perfect. It is being improved and there will be more information when it gets merged into master. RT safe audio here we come. Have fun. --Mark McCurry and zynaddsubfx team |
