It's true, though, that=20 much of the click/pop artifacts in legato mode do seem to relate to=20 velocity changes, from what I can tell. The best fix would be to ramp=20 (very quickly) the volume and filter settings to the new=20 velocity-determined ones, but I suspect that would take a lot of effort=20 to implement. This is why I was (pleasantly) surprised that the legato=20 hack sounds as good as it does as often as it does. For now, I plan to=20 try to create sound patches that work well with the legato mode, and be=20 happy with that. :) Of course, someday maybe someone can create an option to use=20 velocity-per-note-on or velocity-per-retrigger and make everyone=20 happy... |
