I think these two features would definitely knock
ztracker up to the position of being a great candidate for
real-time performances.
I don't know why nobody has actually implemented this
yet... but it would be nice to have the ability to play one
or more patterns at the same time, ie. turn the Pattern
Order List (F11) into a table. This'd make it possible to
sequence sequences and manage parts so you don't
have to combine all your instrument-part sequences into
one pattern.
Also it'd be cool if you had a real-time pattern player. I'm
sure several people have been asking for this by now.
This would also go hand in hand with the simultaneous
pattern playing. It'd definitely be cool if there was a row
of currently playing/looping patterns and you were able
to queue up patterns for each part and have it cycle at
the end of the currently playing patterns when you hit
spacebar.

hmm.. "play one or more patterns at the same time,"
-then it comes to my mind that its needed that mastersequence could remember which tracks are muted and
which not.
Song could become real puzzle this way- maybe it should rename to a Puzzletracker..
