Specific problem: When attempting to start the first action
stage, Industen, the game zooms out on the map (this is
normal). At this point, the game stops advancing. The
"descent" music is heard, however the zoom-and-spin onto the
target location does not happen, and the game proceeds no
further.
Oddly, I loaded an old state from just before descending to
Tortoise Isle, and the problem does NOT occur. After
confirming the dialog option, the game zooms out, then spins
and zooms in and the action stage proceeds as it should. I
have not tested any other locales within the game.
First noticed with 1.40, persists in 1.42

Just checked the bug logs, this seems to be a recurrance of
something that happened long ago, back in 2001. See

Since I have a savestate that's actually a ways into the
game, it's clear that it was resolved at some point and has
cropped up again.
