#77 behavior of delete in zsh changed abruptly

I\'m not sure how this happened but the behavior of delete in zsh changed abruptly while in the middle of using it. I\'m assuming unreproducible since no changes to the configuration were made.
ctrl-v + delete now reports ^@? which is a null followed by a delete. A normally functioning zsh should report ^? for ctrl-v + delete.
