MISSY is research-use software and is not validated. A laboratory must establish suitability for its own methods, instruments, data and SOPs. Feature availability does not establish ISO/IEC 17025 conformity or accreditation.
Local offline processing reduces the need to send experiment data elsewhere. It does not establish encryption, access control, backup, malware protection or secure deletion. Laboratory/investigator names are session metadata, not a login security boundary.
An outlier or failed rule does not establish contamination, inhibition, instrument failure or another cause. Missing evidence must not become an unsupported negative result. A cycle-count sentinel must remain distinct from a genuine measured threshold cycle at the same number.
Source-code, third-party library, font, documentation and audio licences must be considered individually. An open record or repository does not grant new rights to every embedded asset. The historical source subset does not include every private fixture or figure needed to reproduce the complete old book.
Download pseudonymisation does not govern speech. Spoken answers can contain identifiers regardless of the download setting and can be heard or recorded. Headphones do not make speech subject to that setting.
