Hey guys.
Just wanted to say that ZooKeeper looks awesome and to keep up the work.

I wrote a similar lock and coordination server for Spinn3r.  It's rock solid
and works very well so far but is feature limited and doesn't have online
replicas.

My plan was to standardize the API and eventually implement something like
ZooKeeper as Open Source.

Well I'm amazingly lazy so I'll just use ZooKeeper.

Also, have you seen hyperspace?

It might make sense to start standardizing a interaction protocol for this
type of service.  The API is pretty simple so a simple protocol might be
nice.

Anyway, I have some more comments but I'll keep those to myself until I have
the time to swap out our implementation.
