#8 Sort and Arrange Comments and Replies

The sorting and arrangement of comments and replies on
this site are ghastly (as SURELY you must know by now),
and I suspect are turning many away (site activity has
dropped measurably over the last couple of months since
this new version of the Blogs was introduced). To me
this represents a technical problem that must be
addressed with the highest of priorities or you will
lose your remaining faithful few who continue to post.
A further suggestion: try using a test staging area
before you actually implement something new to the
world. It might save you some embarrassment.

Otherwise, I like the basic approach being used to
provide a better and more useable interface.

The other thing is that the sight no longer signs me in
automatically, so I appear as Anonymous. Indeed, even
when I do intentionally sign in, my replies to comments
might still show Anonymous.

Apologies for the delay in responding. Sourceforge has
unfortunately not been sending me a few of these bugs,
which is now fixed.

In any case, I wonder if you could update your comment,
since it's two months since you wrote it, and I think some
of the issues may be resolved. Does the login issue
persist? Has the comment sorting got any better?

What exactly is wrong with the column sorting as it exists
now, btw?
