#1 Integrate the editor in the Package View
Currently, Eclipse shows all JARs and ZIPs in the Package View with the correct icon (so it recognizes them) but you cannot "open" them like folders.
Can you please extend your editor so it can be registered with these file types to allow to enter them in the Package View?

Currently there is neither a way to extend the Resource Navigator nor the Package Explorer.
If you want this functionality, you must use the Project Explorer.
The Zip Editor alreay extend this view to show contents of zip archives.
Zip Editor version 1.0.0 still does not provide actions for this view. That's why there is no context menu if you select a file under a zip tree. Version 1.0.1 will do.
