Impressive package!
I want to specify the name of the output barcode file from a batch job as a prefix and a non-consecutive number.
If zint could read a csv that would work really well (for my purpose).

Workarounds I can see:
1. batch outside zint and feed zint the jobs one by one: zint -o NameNumber.png -i "piped data"
2. include null data and delete/ignore excess output

Both workarounds are feasible as my data set is small with small gaps, and jobs are to be run monthly. For simplicity of administration (particularly by staff less comfortable with scripting) the shortest script would be best. I expect others woudl find a csv implementation useful too.

Many thanks for the excellent work so far,
R

    Hi,

    Thanks for your kind words.

I think your idea is interesting but I'm not sure how it would work in practice. I will have to spend some time experimenting with this and get back to you.

    Thanks,

    Robin.

    Hi,
    Thanks for updating the ticket.
I hope this has not been a distraction because I have moved employers. Hence I won't be able to implememt the barcode deployment via CSV, but I will pass on to my former colleagues when complete.
CSV is a common format for many outputs/inputs so I'm sure this will create value for others too.
    Regards,
    R

I think, this is not priority. Without an implementation.
    Sorry for closing it.
    Thank you,
    Harald
