The win32 build of Zinf 2.2.1 has a similar(same?) problem.
Zinf crashes on startup when the checkbox for "Watch These
Folders for New Music" is ticked and no folders are listed
in the associated list box.
A workaround is to bring zinf to the foreground (it still
remains active and even plays music on WinXP while the crash
dialog is up) and select properties, then move to the
folders option and untick "Watch These Folders for New
Music". Acknowlege the crash dialog and restart Zinf.
Everything will work out fine.
