    Hello,

We're attempting to establish a fail over method where in the zpush
Zimbra Backend will try an alternate server if the first is unavailable.
    Is something like this supported?

I don't think, but can't you handle the failover using DNS?

No. It is not something I have considered.

Your zimbra mailbox is on one server. If that goes away there is not much you can do. If you have ahigh-availability plan for your zimbra server this is going to involve switching the DNS to point to the new server anyway for smtp and webmail. z-push just uses webmail to connect so it should work the ame way.

      Or, am I missing something?

    Hey Liverpool,

Thanks for the reply. the zpush server and the zimbra server are on the same network, but we're going to try routing outside the network to make use of our DNS providers fail over. I don't see another way to to make multi site zimbra + multi site z-push work.

    -Thanks
