"The ZigBee dongle (OEM-DAUB1 2400) was developed to support the primary licensee of the Integration Comps® ZigBee stack - OKI. The product was designed primarily as a reference design but took up more traction as a packet sniffer for 3rd party semiconductor ZigBee solutions. This product is now planned for End of Life (EOL) with respect to mass production. We will consider selling / licensing the manufacturing rights to this product to customers."

I think you are misunderstanding their declaration about "OEM-DAUB1 2400".
They just announced the product "ZigBee-2.4-DK" will be EOLed after 13Jun09, but not "OEM-DAUB1 2400". These two products are different.
It seems that the "OEM-DAUB1 2400" will be licenced to other manufacturers, and end users may not be able to buy it directly from silicon labs.
The "ZigBee-2.4-DK" is a set of ZigBee evaluation boards which were designed by silicon labs; in the meanwhile, the "OEM-DAUB1 2400" is just a ZigBee USB dongle developed by Integration/silicon labs.

I've just got the following response from silabs regarding the OEM-DAUB1 2400.
OEM-DAUB1 2400: Was developed to support the primary licensee of the Integration Comps® ZigBee stack - OKI. The product was designed primarily as a reference design but took up more traction as a packet sniffer for 3rd party semiconductor ZigBee solutions.
This product is now planned for End of Life (EOL) with respect to mass production.
We will consider selling / licensing the manufacturing rights to this product to customers.
Silabs is not offering any support over this product any more.
We announce the EOL to customers that may want to take advantage of a final buy.
You can still download the last Dongle CD content from ftp://81.0.78.24
Unless somebody else takes up the manufacturing rights it looks like the end to me.

Hi,
I understand the Integration/SI Labs dongle is being discontinued in June 09.
Do you have a replacement target in mind?
Cheers, Steve.
It is a bad news. Is it an official declaration from Silicon Labs/Integration?

Hi,
I cannot find any reference to the OEM-DAUB1 2400 on the silabs web site.
Do you know any other sites that have it for sale?
Steve.
Following links are old Integration files of OEM-DAUB1 2400 on the silabs web site.
