I ran /uri/0install/zero-install.sourceforge.net/apps/ZeroClean and was surprised that it wanted root's password to clean up the cache directory. ZeroClean requires permission to modify the cache. Enter the root password: Password: Isn't that rather against the idea of not running remote code as root? And since all the files are stored under the 'zeroinst' user you should be able to get away with using that user. I tried running ZeroClean under the zeroinst user, but it still wanted root's password. -Wayne |
