I use TwonkyServer as my media server and would love an option when renaming the movie file to change the date (created, modified) to the movie date it was release.
As far as I know, Adobe AIR based applications are not able to change these attributes of files. They are read only in the API. I may at some point in the future add some additional features that require a 'native installer', which would give Zeeb the ability to run command line type things which might work. I would add it for things like being able to call mkvmerge/mkvinfo, etc. to get details about a particular file, such as audio tracks and subtitles, but this is just in the idea stage at this point.
