The option to write an NFO file with the IMDB results. I understand that the NFO format is wide open to interpretation, but my use case is Boxee.
Theirs is uses an XML structure.
The file can be named the same as the renamed file or be “movie.nfo".

The ease of implimentation is directly related to how much metadat ayou already decode with the exsiting app. Even a sparse file with <title> and <id> would help the auto scan of Boxee matchup the correct title during it's media scan.
I may look at having the option to replace/add in addition to the .url with a .nfo file. Already the .url file contains the original NFO file if it is found and the option enabled to include it. You could run a little batch script that renamed the .url file to .nfo perhaps in the meantime.
