If possible, put an option in the preferences menu to only place spaces between seperate entries (word, phrases, etc) as opposed the every character. This makes pinyin much more readable and is the standard used on sites like adsotrans.com and pinyin.info. For more info see: http://pinyin.info/readings/zyg/rules.html
Thanks!
propose to Kaya: this option makes sense to me. It is a choice to place a space between the characters (there is an explicit line of code int he parser that adds this space), but we could make this optional.
If you agree, then I'll the status to 'Accepted', otherwise Rejected. Now set to Remind.
@mvdberg112: can you tell me the source file and the line of code?
The file:
http://zdt.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/zdt/tags/0.9.0/net.sourceforge.zdt.core/src/net/sourceforge/zdt/core/util/ParserUtils.java?revision=1160&content-type=text%2Fplain
See these lines:
if (!pinyin.contains(" "))
{
sb.append(" ");
}
