Feature request: Set pinyin font to 'Arial', 'Regular', '14', 'Western'. This feature applies for Windows systems.
Reason: The default font for pinyin in ZDT is 'default' (I am not sure what default means in this context). The pinyin looks a little funny (see screenshot). In the pinyin, the vowel that have a tonemark, are slightly raised compared with the other letters and vowel without tone marks.
Pinyin font to 'Arial', 'Regular', '14', 'Western', displays pinyin quite well and is available on all Windows systems. A clear view helps studying. Courier New is also a very clear font and pleasant to study with.
Along the same lines: for default font 'Microsoft Sans Serif' , '14' (this is NOT the same as MS sans Serif; both fonts are on some systems present, but Microsoft Sans Serif' looks much better).
Since the default font has been set now, it might be important to fix the Character font to 'SimSun' 14.
It seems that
Similar for the Character font, fix it on SimSun.
(it seems that ZDT when no font is choosen as default font, uses automatically SimSun)
