Does copying libglade.m4 to the macros subdir fix anything? (mail me
privately if it isn't in your system, should come with libglade-devel).

Yep, you are right, sorry for the misleading tip.
Actually, what I said in that mail should read:
"I've no clue, but looks like auto* is involved, so I'm scared" ;-)
I know how to *use* auto[conf|make], but when it comes to understanding
their subtleties, i'm lost.
