I usually just post updates to here whenever I get around to it. It's mainly just a personal project that I like to share, so updates usually only come when it stops working properly and I have to update the included version of youtube-dl. I have the source code posted to Debian Salsa, their git service, but for something like this it's a little easier to just make my changes, wrap them up in an archive and upload to here, so the version on Debian Salsa might not get maintained or updated at the same time as this one.
Today I learned how to make DEB files, so if it's easier, you can just use the DEB file to install on Linux. The files in the DEB file are still the same plain text files, so you can just browse the install directory, or extract the DEB file itself to a folder if you want to read the source code.
