Hi, I may be interested in contributing to yasplot, but I'm curious how you 
design the thing? Do you just use vim or emacs or something like that? 
(Because you make your own makefile and so on.) In that case, it might be 
handier to use an IDE like KDevelop(KDE, I prefer this one) or anjuta(GNOME), 
which creates automake and autoconf scripts and such (I don't really know) 
but with one of those you only have to do the programming, and it makes 
automatically. KDevelop also has options to make packages.

I'm also available to translate things into English and Dutch
