Right now, You can do it by hand, but not using the web interface

Just go to photos/gallery_dir/ and edit phid.$$RandomString$$ file. you will 
see it has a format similar to this

0=>100-0062_img.jpg
1=>100-0063_img.jpg
2=>100-0064_img.jpg
3=>100-0065_img.jpg
4=>100-0066_img.jpg


move the FULL line to the position you want. for example:

4=>100-0066_img.jpg
1=>100-0063_img.jpg
2=>100-0064_img.jpg
3=>100-0065_img.jpg
0=>100-0062_img.jpg

now, image 4 appears the first in gallery index and image 0 the last one.
