Instructions: Just do how much of the below you feel comfortable with.
Simple Instructions
-> Select a spell in the green box.
-> Copy the description from the "Original" column to the "Better" column
-> If there are any level dependent bits, replace it with what a 20th level caster would have. e.g. "The bolt deals 1d8 points of electricity damage + 1 point per 2 caster levels (maximum +10)." would become "The bolt deals 1d8+10 points of electricity damage."
-> Rewrite the descriptions in the "Better" column so that it fits in the box. Try not to lose any important info if you can.
-> Make a note if there any problems.
Moderate Instructions:
-> If the spell is "Like this spell, but different", try to copy in the description of the original spell, then make the relevent changes
-> If there are any dice in the description "1d8+10", "10d6", etc, replace that part with a "<DICE>" tag and put the "1d8+10" etc, into the dice column.
Complex Instructions:
-> Replace the level dependent stuff with a <VAR> tag, and in the <VAR> tag describe the variable
E.g. Magic Missile has "You get an extra missile for every two caster levels beyond first (to a max of 5)", would become "You fire <VAR> missiles" and put something like "1, with extra for every 2 caster levels, to max of 5"
-> You can also do this for level dependent stuff in the DICE columns.
E.g. "The bolt deals 1d8 points of electricity damage + 1 point per 2 caster levels (maximum +10)." becomes "The bolt deals <DICE> damage"; In the <DICE> column put "1d8+<VAR>"; in the <VAR> column put "1 per 2 caster levels (max +10)"
The extra columns are used for applying various metamagic feats.

Those were done, here is a new batch from Inner Sea Gods (+one from Faiths of Corruption)
I have updated the instructions at the start to hopefully make things a little easier.

Am I correct to think the first portion of "Copy the description from the "Original" column to the "Better" column" is already done?
Yes, but I think I might need to post an update to that file as I already did the spells that were also in Faiths of Corruption.
I have updated the file in the 2nd post. I've put "done" in column A for the spells I've already done.
All right. I'll have a look.
I'll be working on these now, let me know if you've already done some.
